Dukes, Edwards & Dukes, Inc. is the evolution of over 60 years of hard work, dedication and a commitment to excellence.

The company was started by Sylvester Dukes and Raymond Edwards as Dukes & Edwards Construction in 1951. They were a non-bonded commercial masonry construction company that grew as general contractors.

Winfred Dukes joined Dukes & Edwards over 35 years ago as a masonry laborer. He continued to build his skills by taking on positions as carpenter, construction superintendent, estimator and project manager. In 1988 the company was incorporated and became Dukes, Edwards & Dukes, Inc.

In 1992 Winfred Dukes began taking on the reins of leadership by adding strategic planning, marketing, cost estimating, and value engineering to the company's portfolio.

As CEO, Winfred Dukes continues to evolve the company by planning business objectives, evaluating investment opportunities, and developing
corporate policies. Today Dukes, Edwards & Dukes is a recognized consulting firm in the construction management industry.

Throughout his career, Winfred Dukes has been dedicated to the betterment of his community. He has served on the Albany Dougherty Chamber
of Commerce, Home Builders Association (HBA) of Southwest Georgia, and Chairman of Georgia Summit of African American Business Organization (GASAABO), and a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).

Additionally, he is and has been a State Representative of Georgia for over 17 years.
